The Zoo
We had a great time at the Hamilton Zoo. All the animals were awesome.
The special thing we were able to do was feed the giraffes. Giraffes have very long purple tongues which they curled around the carrots and celery. Some of us got slobbered on! The purple is to stop the giraffes tongue from getting sunburnt.
A big thank you to all the parents and care-givers who came to help make our day so special.

What will we see at the Zoo?
We used Kidspiration to make mind-maps to show which animals we are excited about seeing at the zoo.
