Oh-Oh!

Calamity has struck!
Ms Jones was out admiring the gardens on Friday morning and not looking where she was going. ...
Now she has a broken ankle after falling from the grassy area in front on Room 6 onto the concrete.

Whaia Monika will hold the fort and look after Room 5 while Ms Jones is getting mobile again.
Hopefully very soon you will see her whizzing about on a knee scooter!

Welcome to 2020 in Room 5

Greetings.

It's hot but we are keeping cool in our air conditioned classroom and swimming in our fabulous pool in the afternoons.

We are off to a great start despite the strangeness of having a day at school then Waitangi Day then another day back in school and now it's the weekend!

Children should have taken home a stationery list and a letter from me explaining our class and the way things happen.  It would be good if stationery could be purchased as soon as possible so we can all start in our new books together.

If you have any questions or issues please feel free to come and speak with me before or after school. I look forward to meeting everyone at the family picnic on Thursday the 20th of February.

Here are some photos from today.

Lining up after lunch.
We started our self-portrait paintings today.

We have been exploring the equipment in Room 5.
